Pressure-Treated Wood Fence vs Cedar Fence

With over 40 years of experience in fence manufacturing and installation, we know that pressure-treated pine fences are no longer as durable as they once were. These fences quickly deteriorate when exposed to the elements. After only a few years, the wood begins to break down.

That’s why we recommend installing cedar wood fences. Cedar is a naturally durable softwood that resists decay and insects. It has excellent dimensional stability, meaning it does not crack or split easily. Even without chemical treatment, cedar does not rot because it contains a high concentration of natural organic compounds.

A clear or semi-transparent stain can be applied to highlight the wood's rich patterns and natural color.

Installation of Your Cedar Wood Fence

By combining cedar and enameled steel in the same fence, you get the durability and complete privacy you want! The steel posts are extremely strong and resist rust because they are coated with baked enamel paint.
During the installation of your wood fence, the posts are set in 42 inches of concrete and spaced a maximum of 8 feet apart. These cedar wood fences are available in three heights: 4 feet, 5 feet, and 6 feet. They come with a 5-year warranty on the enamel coating and concrete bases.
