CLÔTURE GP handles the manufacturing and installation of pool fences in Pont-Rouge and throughout the Quebec region. We offer several types of pool fences, starting at 4 feet in height: chain link pool fences (Frost fences), clear tempered glass pool fences, and ornamental pool fences in galvanized or enameled iron, available in various colors.

We are also a distributor and installer of removable or permanent Enfant Sécure.pool fences. These fences are made of synthetic mesh with a transparent effect, assembled on reinforced aluminum posts set every 3 feet.

Enfant Sécure Pool Fences

Enfant Sécure fences exceed safety standards for drowning prevention and comply with the new regulations in force in Quebec, as well as the international ASTM F2286-16 standard. These fences, with transparent mesh panels, are assembled on aluminum posts inserted into the concrete slab or patio.

Each section of the Enfant Sécure pool fence measures 15 feet long, with posts installed every 36 inches. Safety hooks securely connect the sections together. U-frame gates provide maximum strength and security.

Gates are also available for removable pool fences. These gates feature a magnetic locking mechanism that is lifted to lock the gate. A key lock is also available, with a lock that can be installed on the inside.

Municipal Regulations to Follow

In all municipalities in Quebec, residential pools must be completely surrounded by a fence equipped with an automatic self-closing and self-latching system. The minimum required height is 1.2 meters, and vertical bars must prevent the passage of a round object with a diameter of 10 cm, while also making it impossible to climb from the outside. Hedges or shrubs are not accepted as a fence.

Above-ground pools with a rigid wall at least 1.2 meters high do not need to be surrounded by a fence, nor do inflatable pools with a soft wall reaching 1.4 meters in height.
